Loved it.
This book rang true for me. Peggy and her daughter reminded me of a friend of mine and her mother, who happens to be the same age as Peggy and also lives in a retirement village.

A mother wanting her own independence. Adult children caring about their mother’s welfare.
And doesn’t it create a storm in Peggy’s life when an old friend arrives at the Jacaranda Retirement Village? It certainly pushes all the buttons of emotions.

I giggled throughout the book. I felt all of the things – anguish, love, and determination. It was paced well. I found it hard to put down.

Five Stars for this lovely, entertaining book.
